CPR & AED Awareness Week
June 1 - 7, 2015

National CPR and AED Awareness Week was designated in 2007 by Congress as the first week in June to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest, how to prevent SCA, and its treatment.

During this week, local and national organizations come together to promote awareness by holding CPR/AED classes, teaching "Compression-Only" CPR, hosting events, and distributing educational information.

Every person can benefit from learning what to do in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. It is up to us to educate and inform the public, and this week is the perfect platform to do so!

What is EMS Safety doing?

We're holding events in the community June 1-7 to demonstrate "Compression-Only" CPR, how to use an AED, and choking relief skills by using the Act Fast Anti-Choking Trainer. Check out our Facebook and Twitter pages during CPR/AED Awareness Week for updates all week long on what's happening.
